I have been getting haircuts @ Sports Clips for many years. Although the stylists have use the products on me when I get my hair cut, I have never purchased any products. The reason is because Sports Clips dose not show their retail prices. You can’t even find pricing on their website. In the store you can see signs like “20% Off”. Off of WHAT!? Most likely I probably would buy products. However, I am not going to ask how much the products sell for! Any intelligent retailer knows that if you price your merchandise, you are more likely to sell more. The customer mindset is that if I have to ask it must cost too much. So now I have left sports clips and I am on my way to purchase hair products that I can see the retail price without asking. Note also that I usually spend more to buy the best products. I am just not going to purchase anything that I can’t see the retail price!
